Your words are flowing over me in a waterfall of wild delight
Having written songs throughout my life and performed in Europe as the singer and primary songwriter in the band Red Gold for over a decade I have now turned to working on my debut releases as a solo artist.
My first release was ‘A Few Lines’ in June of 2021 with ‘How The Times Have Changed' being my latest release.
My debut album 'Tainted Souls' is also now available.
Most of my songs reflect on my life, the people in it, things I've experienced and places I've been. Influenced by Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, David Grey and Jack Johnson you'll find pop, country, folk and rock influences in my songs and often an unexpected twist in the production. As part of a musical family my daughter Gwyneth often appears on my recordings as a female vocalist and supports me in my writing.
As well as creating music, I've also started creating my own original artwork using acrylic, water colour, ink, pencil and charcoal, sometimes mixing media.
On this picture, for For Another Day, I used acrylic paint on a 80cm x 60cm canvas.
